what kinda M5's (archive)

I'm not very knowledgeable on my E34's. on bmwm5.com I see all the awsome 340hp, 6-speed, 3.8 liter M5's and am thinking to myself, "damn thats sweet." But I believe that only europe gets the cool ones. Whats the deal with the US E34 M5's. What the displacement, hp/torque, tranny, etc on stock M5's. Also what were the production years, and if you happen to know the 0-60 #'s, that'll be cool too. ;)
