thanks for the info. i was wondering because i have 93 525i and have access to new (98) m3 motor from wrecked car. figured starting w/fresh m3 motor would be better than investing $$$ in upgrading current engine.

can i change the M50 engine of my E34 525i to the M5 S38 or M3 E36


I have put the m3 engine into a 525 before
its a simple process,it mounts directly on with one modification,which is use the oil pan from the m50 engine
