The parts you would need:
Thule foot/base #TK1, Thule foot #430, 50" cross bars. These can be had online at www.sportsrack.com for $145 for the kit plus shipping, or at any bricks Thule dealer. The nuts on the TK1 foot will slide into the roof rails on the Touring, though I anticipate that I will have to saw off about 1/4 inch of the end of the long, oval shaped slide nut to be able to drop it into the channel. Yakima also has a package that will fit into the Touring rails, though it is not listed in any product guides for our cars, and I haven't done the research for the correct Yakima parts.
I will be buying these in the next week or so and will have pictures of the final product available then if you would like to see them.
Hope you find what works for you. If you have a chance, I am interested in hearing the story of your conversion. Drop me a line, and where can I see pictures?!?!
Email me, if you can locate a euro raised roof rack.
Thanx,
Zach
