Hi James,

The US E34 M5 was 3535cc, which is closer to 3.5 than 3.6 litres, but BMW called it a 3.6 to differentiate it from the 3.5 litre motor in the 535i

311hp is correct

Regards

John

what is the US specs on the e34 US M5. I thought it was 3.6L 311hp, but I did a car fax on a 91 and it said 3.5L.
