I just made purchase of the RDsports 3.8L stoker crankshaft and rods. Besides a piston set (RDsports says to use evo m3 stock pistons with a little machining)and a few odds and ends like bearings and seals, what else is required? Of course the block needs to be bored, but what about the head, ported?

I was also wondering if anybody knew the life expectancy of a stroker engine, that is, one with normal use. Do they make good daily drivers, any tuning problems.

What I want is simply more horsepower, but only when I need it, and I want to maintain the smooth/daily aspects of the car. Thanks
