If so, you still should not be having a problem.

OR - do you mean the E34 M5 "Throwing Star" wheel center cap won't fit on the wheel when installed on the E28?

If so, some of the very early E34 M5 wheels do not accept the "Throwing Star" covers... it has nothing to do with being on an E28.

Your right, it seems to be a problem with my dustcap and not the wheel itself. From the responses to my post, it looks like I need to replace the stock e28 dustcap fitting over the wheel bearing with an e34 dustcap which has a different shape and won't interfere with the wheel's plastic hupcap. My shop says they will fit.

Let me know if you know about those emblems. They were seen on the same type wheels as your Dinan Turbo's e34 wheels.
