When you move from a stock wheel to a larger/smaller width wheel do you adjust the offset to maintain the same percentage wheel on each side of the mounting flange (i.e. a larger wheel width would lead to a larger offset) or do you keep the offset the same regardless of width?Thanks
The offset is measured from the centerline. Fitting wider wheels usually means the offset needs to be reduced so the inside sidewall is close to the strut, or trailing arm without touching.
