it's three months away, but i thought you guys might want to know about
it in time to make plans to attend...

EUROFEST is taking place on Saturday, May 26th (Memorial Day weekend)
in the exhibit hall of the world famous Opryland Hotel in Nashville...this will be the
third year for this all-European car and motorcycle event...based on last year's attendance
(over 200 entrants), the organizers are billing it as the "largest indoor gathering of new,
late model, and classic European cars and trucks in the US"

Southeast car club chapters for BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lotus, VW, Alfa Romeo, Triumph,
Austin, MG, Rolls Royce and others showed up last year along with motorcycle chapters for
Ducati, Triumph, BSA, Norton, BMW, Moto Guzzi, Laverda and more...

We had 26 BMWs show and this year we are hoping to double our presence by
sparking interest from CCA chapters in Alabama (Heart of Dixie), Kentucky (Bluegrass Bimmers),
Tennessee (Smoky Mtn, River City, Choo Choo Bimmers) and Georgia (Peachtree) along with
any "loners" out there not currently a part of the CCA...

The coolest thing about this show is the INDOOR element...this year they are allowing cars to enter
and stage on Friday afternoon--that means you can spend HOURS detailing without the worry of
dust and fact, during last year's show a tornado watch was in effect that we were totally
unaware of! an outdoor show would have been a total rainout!

Pre-registration last year was only $10 which included a Pre-Show Party on Friday Night...
the show is open to the general public from 11am to 4pm...other events taking place at the hotel in conjunction
with the car show include a "Salute to the Armed Forces" including an exhibit of military vehicles and equipment
and the Titanic Exhibition...the crowds will be HUGE!

Opryland is offering special room rates for car show attendees...

one of our local chapter members created a website and posted some images from last year's show...
