According to the EPA, a 1998 Ford Expedition is cheaper to run on an anual basis than a 93 M5, but then again you probably didn't buy your car to for it's fuel efficiency. The Gas pedal is the one of the highlights of the car. By the way according to the OBC I'm getting about 16 MPG with a highway/city mix.

Yeah, that does seem normal. I average just about the same, 14mpg city/24mpg highway in my '92 M5. Overall I get 17mpg.

A few months ago I bought a 91 E34 M5 with [email protected] Tri-Flo exhaust and Dinan chip/suspension. I am getting around 13.5 MPG!?!?! Is this unusaul? I put Techron and Heet in the gas tank, but the improvement was only 3/10 mile. Anything else I can do?

Any advise is appreciated

That is normal for city driving. On the highway (75 mph) you should get about 23mpg.

Owned mine since 91. 15 MPG city/ 22-23 MPG HW @ 75-85 MPH.
