Isn't it just pure supply and demand law? If you don't want to buy a Z8 and nobody else does, then the price will drop significantly, dealers aren't collectors and interest rate accumulates daily.

In your case vs Crevier BMW:
I think they are crooks, pure and simple. Hope they get screwed by your lawyer :oP

I once bought a bimmer from Center BMW in LA (I think it was/still owned by Mr Ferguson, now a Western Regional Manager) and got a good deal.

BMWs in California are ridiculously priced. Z8s and M5s in other states are more reasonably priced, you can see the discussion about price in www.bmwm5.com
