I know there are a lot of talented designers on the boards so now's your chance to show off your work. Roadfly.com wants an official bimmer.org logo. We have plenty of ideas of our own but we want input from you the members.
We plan on voting in about two weeks, so you have a little time. Once we have the finalists we'll post the graphics so you can give us your input.
Feel free to post your graphics to the message boards, but in order to make sure they get to us please email the logos directly to "logo@roadfly.com"
FAQ
Q. What image format?
A. Don't worry about high resolution .tiff or .psd files at this point. Let's get the logo right before we worry about sending it to the printer. Sending .gifs or .jpgs is best for now.
Q. Does the logo need to say Roadfly.com?
A. Not at this point. We're looking for the logo as we would have designed it three years ago.
Q. Why are you making a logo now?
We want to have an official logo so we can print stickers, make shirts and hats, etc. before we move the final parts of the website under the Roadfly.com name.
Q. What about trademark infringement?
A. You can't use anything in the logo that resembles BMW's trademarks. For example don't use a Roundel, don't use "M" stripes, etc.
