Have you considered the Alpina B10 Bi-Turbo?

I am thinking of buying a turbo charger for my E34 M5. I have heard that this mod will deplete the life of the engine. I only have 15K on the rebuilt engine, but don't want to sacrifice the life of the car for a little extra H/P.

Can anyone tell me the negative effects of a turbo charger? ALso, how much H/P can I expect to gain?
