If I could find a well sorted example that had been imported, federalized and registered in California I would be interested in either a 3.8T or sedan variant. Definitely a rare breed and even harder to find in California.

There IS(was?) a 540i 6-speed Touring for sale in CA. It had been a 530iT that was converted. I believe the asking price was about $39k.
