Your car currently has the best performmance exhaust available, assuming that you have the stock E34 M5 exhaust under your car.

Aftermarket "performance exhaust systems" show no increase in HP and only add a louder exhaust tone. BMW did extensive research/testing on designing the best stock exhaust for the E34 M5. They achieved their goal and were quite proud of the result.

Aftermarket exhausts are costly for only resulting with an increased audible tone.
