Has anyone ever imported an M5 into the U.S. If so what sort of changes need to be made for a 1993.

I do know of a sight that shows the required changes. Some that I can remember are lights have to be converted into us standards, bumpers will have to be updated to us standards, I am confident that the glass does not have to be replaced, exaust system into us standards, emission standards meens it must pass DEQ. So you will want a car that can easily pass a compression test (essentially the car should run like new).
