ASC+T was never offered on the E34 M5, even on Euro-spec 1994 and 1995 models. I have never seen a US-spec M5 with a memory driver's seat or power steering column, though these were listed as options on 1992 models but strangely not on 1993s. Both features were available as options in Canada on 1993 models, however. Hope this helps!

BTW, no US-spec Bimmers have ever had a rear fog light so this must have been a misprint.


I have a 93 sales brochure that includes the 530i/540i/Touring/M5. The ASC+T is mentioned as std on the 530i Touring and an option on the 530i/540i, but nothing mentioned for the M5. I haven't seen any discussion on this board and elsewhere as an option. Was it? Also, 540i had elect. telescope steering wheel, what about M5? Finally, 540i had memory seats/outside mirrors/steering wheel/seatbelt ht, but again no reference to this feature on the M5?

It appears that all flavors had heating element on driver door lock, heated windshield washers, and rear fog light.

Can anyone confirm all this? Any comments on the ASC+T by anyone are appreciated.
