My last and most important concern is that if it would be expensive for me to up keep and if it is a car that i can drive all year round and on a daily basis. Anyone can advise me on this?

The answer on expensive is: YES! it will be very expensive to maintain properly. The car is extremely rewarding to drive but (at least in my case) is the most costly BMW I've ever owned -- by a wide margin. But properly maintained, it can be a year-round blast (you'll need quality snow tires if you have moderate to heavy winters, though).
