The only official E34 M5's to ever be sold in North America was the 311hp 3.6 Litre from 1991-1993. Dont worry though they run to 60mph in 5.6 seconds as per CAR&DRIVER, April 1992 and Sport Car Illustrated who averaged 5.70 sec to 60mph and 21.9 seconds to 120mph so in ultimate acceleration they give nothing away to the 3.8L Euro only models. My brother has both a 3.6L and 3.8L in the UK, Black and Avus blue. At Silverstone they accelerate nearly indentical but handling is another matter, his 3.8L handles much nicer and the extra torque is most noticeable here.
The 1991 bmw m5 in the USA has 340hp? Also does the 1993 bmw m5's have more horsepower or then the 1991's. Which year m5 has the 315hp?
Thanks for your help
