Your pretty much right on there, I like 3500-4000 rpm and a full clutch drop, then feathering the throttle until traction is 100%, then your right she goes like a bat out of hell. I didnt buy mine to drag race either but its fun at times to surprise some of these guys who dont know any better. I think mid 5's is pretty damn impressive considering the poor torque that this engine produces.

What is the best way to launch the car? I've been taking it up to 3500 RPM and letting the clutch out medium fast, which results in a brief chirp and bogs down, then it goes like hell.

Frankly, I didn't buy the car to drag race, but I don't want to embarrass the marque when cornered...
