Truly sorry, as I don't know the proper way to handle this (besides tracking him down and killing him) but someone here will be able to help, I'm sure of it.

What does he look like? Did he act at all shady/sketchy before you left his car with him?
It might help that you post the story of what happened as to prevent this from happening to anyone else.
