Remove the cat and insert a straight pipe, use quick change exhaust couplers so you can easily replace the cat for yearly smog tests.(I think Frank Fahey?? sells a setup premade) This and use of the a conforti chip are your cheapest Hp gains.

Depends on where you live, but if it doesn't get hotter than say 70 during the day, get rid of the belts for the airpump and A/C. After removing, take off fan and fan clutch. I removed due to not using the A/C ever, the airpump is only used in the morning during start-up, and then it just becomes and accessory drag. As for removing the fan and clutch, the car only gets kind of warm in traffic, but the auz fan for the A/C kicks in when the needs moves close to the middle of the temp guage, so it never over heats. Other wise, start with a chip. Exhaust is useless, only makes the car louder and costs more money, and an intake is actually supposed to ruin the car because it takes away the ram air effect that the factory designed. Replacement filters have been known to actually loose their oil by getting sucked onto the MAS because the engine is so strong on the top-end.

I just got one and I want to boost the HP.

Chip? Filter? Exhaust?

Thanks,

Sean
