The '88 M5 has the same body style as the 1985-1988 5-series (535, 528, 533). It is a great car, but you BETTER have it checked by a competent BMW mechanic. Repairs can be VERY expensive if it has not been maintained. That is true for all ///M cars (and most other cars for that matter.)

Which is it. 1988 M5 which is which? I'm jumping in with both feet here help, please.



So what do you think about an 88 with 175000 miles and the body is mint. i know i have to have it checked but is it worth $9000. or to much of a chance
