I believe it was a 535 or 525 with an M5 badge that was used for most of the chase scenes-the gauges had white needles-E34 M5's have red needles.Also,in some of the scenes the car had different wheels-not the finned oem M5 wheels.When the car crashes and is upside down-the exhaust is different to the M5's exhaust.I think they used M5 sound tracks though-the sound was similar to the M5's sound.Great movie!
