When I purchased my 91 M5 the cat was already removed. The original owner, who removed it, said he noticed an increase in h/p and noise.

I have a '92 M5 Touring 3,8l and I've been thinking about removing the cat, but I've heard different results of doing it...

Does anyone here have any experience with removing the cat?
