The M-Coupe in european spec will hit 100kpm in 5.4 seconds, so a 3.6 could never keep up. Even the euro 3.8 is half a second slower to 100kpm.

I raced a 3.0 z-coupe two days ago in Germany (225hp / 300Nm) and it wasn't a whole lot slower than my car - '93 3.8 chiptuned M5 (app. 375hp). Mind you, the 3.0 only needs 6 seconds to 100kpm. I think the M-coupe would beat me to 150kpm.
