If you are asking about an E34, the sensor is plugged into a mount behind the front bumper next to the passenger side fog light...which will be damaged if you back over a low parking bump or curb that catches your front air dam... about a $40 part that is easy to plug in. good luck getting a good readout...
Does anyone know where this temperature sensor are located?
It measure -37`celsius all the time, and has to be replaced.

I would be happy if someone could give me an advice.
