I don't know the specific costs for maintenaince on a 535i, but I would expect all maintenance costs associated with the M5 to be much higher. Regardless of labor costs, the parts are just more expensive.

Hi
I have a 90 535i for awhile now, been thinking of upgrading to a E34 M5, can owners tell me how much more in maint. should I expect? Do they cost more for inspection 1 and 2?
