I have a 90 535i for awhile now, been thinking of upgrading to a E34 M5, can owners tell me how much more in maint. should I expect? Do they cost more for inspection 1 and 2?

not cheap but well worth it. I have sourced parts cheaper than dealers and have learned to do some stuff myself. I have a Dinan suspension so I have eliminated that extra. It is just the engine and transmission now which have been bulletproof except for some leaks.

Inspection I at my mechanic is about $350 if I recall, inspection II about $600. They do adjust the valves but they did that on my 325i.
