Okay, I want to purchase a 94-95 530 or 540. If you were going to purchase one, what would you want and why: A car with an original Nikasil block with great leakdown specs, or a car with a replacement Alusil block? Anyone had an Alusil block fail because of poor workmanship with the replacement? How many miles do you have on your Nikasil block and is it still in good condition? Are these cars disasters waiting to happen or is the Nikasil thing overblown hype?
