Please DO NOT drive your car for the time being. If you trully do not have any or low engine oil pressure you are gonna ruin your engine. 10 thousand plus to get a new one so play it safe. I would call your local shop and see if they can check the oil pressure(they should) and tow your car in. You may just have a faulty oil pressure switch(doubt it since it registers when you step on the gas causing the oil pressure to rise) you never know. I would think it might be that your oil pump either starting to give way or the screen on the pick up tube is clogged. Hope this helps and good luck!
