Well I stand corrected. You can import the 3.8L M5 and convert it to U.S. specs. I have seen many posts here talking about this and wether or not the 1994 Green M5 was real or not because of the small kidneys. The answer is yes. In Germany a 1994 3.8L can have the small kidneys. There is another more inclusive used auto sight in germany. This is the one that I found my very good deal on a U.S. Spec M5 (1991). I have linked it below. This sight has actual posts here showing just that, a 1994 M5 with small kidneys. Take a look and browse through. Converting late model BMW's is becoming easier and easier. Maybe someone else can make there dream come true with a M3, M5 or 850CSI.
