Watch out for failure of the self-leveling suspension. Shocks are expensive etc. etc.
My '91 M5 with 90k miles has been very reliable.

I am thinking of purchasing a 91 m5 with 120,000 miles. The owner has all routine maintenance and never tracked the car or modified the car. Assuming a compression test checks out what kind of mileage can I expect to get out of this engine before a rebuild or alot of $$ to be spent repairing. What would be some good #'s to see for a compression test? I have no plans on racing or pushing the car. The car has only had two previous owners and the current owner admits to only pushing the car 12 times are so. What is the most anyone has gotten out of these engines before a major rebuild? THe car appears to be in very good condition. Leather good, schocks ok. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Thanks in advance
Brent
