0-60 of M5 3.6L? (archive)

I was wondering what the actual 0-60 time of the 3.6L M5. I know some magazines say 5.9 sec but I think that it is faster. I recently raced a few guys here with 540I's a 94 and 95. They both are supposed to have times in the 5.7 Sec range. Well I smoked them by a Car link to 60 and by the time I hit 130 (4th Gear Redline) I had at least 5 car links on them. Maybe this is due to alot of factors but my launch to 30 got me out front right off the bat. Any Ideas or actual real world drivers that have had this timed please let us know..... Thank
