Be very careful with the turbine M5 wheels
I had a set reconditioned and afterwards they cracked on the 'spokes' (not the turbines but the 'spokes' from the hub centre to the rim).

UK roads make Californian road look like smooth race track these days but shouldn't cause that kind of damage !!


I talked to BMW UK and they had never heard of this before, but also didn't recomment reconditioning the wheels

I'm glad someone else prefers the turbine ugly wheels for the performance gain they offer. I remember many comments about how ugly the 2002 was compared to other "sleek" cars until they got a chance to drive one. Turbines for me except for winter when I put 5 spoke wheels to show off those disk brakes!
