I have been hesitant to rip out the cell phone too. When I'm driving, I'm driving, not talking on the phone. Besides, its excess weight. ;)

I was looking through the factory accessories brochure that came with the car, and there were a few items that were designed to fit that spot, like a cassette tape holder, but I don't have a clue where to get them.
