m5? (archive)

my dad was going to get an M3 but now is thinking about getting an M5 and putting a few thousand into a 300ZX for me, so that way i always have a car. He doesn't drive that much so if we got an M3 i would be driving most of the time but i really want my own car and i think that the M5 has just the right balance of grocery getter and sports car.

any opinions? i would like to hear what you guys have to say on this subject.
