I want to get myself some Throwing Star rims for my '95 525.

Just wondering what size tyres they take - I've heard conflicting info:

I've heard 2 stories:

1. rims are 8x17 front and 9x17 rear taking tyres 235/45/17 front and 255/40/17 Rear.

2. Rims are all 8x17 (front and rear) and take 235/45/17 all round.

Which is right?

You might consider 245/45-17 vs 235/45-17. Just a bit more meat to protect the rim and it also brings the speedo to within less than 1% error correction. I have these exact wheel/tires on my 530i and I am very, very happy.
