Slight acceleration delays (archive)

For the past month of so I have been experiencing a slight delay in the response of my gas pedal. If I am driving down the road, everything seems fine, but if I let off the gas while coasting, and then give it gas again, it delays for a second or so. It only happens for the first 3-5 minutes of driving, then everything is normal.

Occasionally before the delay goes away completely, I can feel a slight 'bump' in power while driving along normally. If I am driving down the highway, and the little delay has gone away, their is an occasional little bit of power that jumps on and then the car is normal after that. Any ideas?!
