Softer clutch for '91 M5 (archive)

I'm thinking of buying a nice clean '91 M5 with about 30K miles on it. Dealer wants $35K, but I'll offer $30 and see what happens. Having driven a '91 before, I know that the clutch is harder than I prefer. My ideal is the '97 528i I had for a couple of years. Is installing the '93 clutch the answer? If so, how much should this cost at a good german car specialist?
