This sensor is on the coolant tube that runs along the passenger side of the head as far as I know. If it is not that one, it is the one on the thermostat housing, which is just under the distributor. Compare your new sensor to both and see which one it is. It is easy to R&R so I won't bother with that.

Please help with installing coolant temp sensor/sending unit. The one that sends to the gauge. Info on an easy way to do it and exact location would help out allot
