There might be differences in your car from the US M5 programming that could make the Dinan/Conforti chips dangerous to run for you. John Robinson in Australia had similar issues with his car due to different factory ECU programming. Fuel could also be an issue. I would recommend looking to a Europen house for your chip and I'm sure there are many options in Germany.

Alternatively, you could buy a chip from the US with a return thing built and, see how you liked it and then decide. I would recommend the Mark D'Sylva chip as I know one of the people working on it and respect him greatly.

i was wondering what kind of chipp tunner i should go with. ive heard alot about dinan and other companies. what are the pros and cons. when i finally go buy one what should i be aware of or looking for. by the way my m5 is european 1991. living in italy
