I concur with the other opinions listed here. If you get that M5, you will quickly forget about that Camaro. The M5 has nearly the same power, but is dramatically better in driver feel, cornering, braking and stability. The Camaro is OK on a track, but on real roads, the M5 has it all over the Camaro.

Plan on shocks and bushings by 100K miles. If not, you won't feel the M5 as it should be. When I bought mine at 85K miles, it felt very good. Then when I bought my wife a standard 525iT with very low mileage, I realized how worn out my car was. After eliminating the load leveling, new shocks, springs, and thrust bushings, the car drives much better than before.
