M5 waterpumps - what's a good price for OE?? (archive)

I'm thinking of changing my main water pump as a preventive measure and have been quoted $289CDN (~$185US) by my local stealer. Is this a reasonable price for the OE pump? My car has 112,000km and I'm not sure the pump was ever changed before.

Also, my aux electric pump is leaking. Anybody take one apart and re-seal? It wouldn't be much of a trick to make a new gasket or replace the O ring if so equipped...
