Mike,

I don't know you, and I don’t frequent the E34 M5 board very often. But what I do know is that I don't appreciate your presumptiveness. The first person that sees the M5 and drives it will buy it. The car is in absolutely mint condition. As far as the mods are concerned, I happen to be someone who appreciates the BEST that BMW has to offer, hence my affinity for the Euro models. (I also own a Euro 850CSi) Let's face it when it came to the E34 M5, E36 M3 and the 850CSi the US market got ripped. So the mods (in particularly the transmission) were carried out to bring the car up to the best spec that BMW offered. While I can appreciate your opinion on the value of my car, I don’t appreciate your tone. Put yourself in my shoes. Say you have a perfect M5, have invested thousands more than the asking price… and someone comes along slamming your asking price and professing to know what the car will go for without ever seeing the car….come drive and see this car then make your prophetic assessments.

Stephen
