Today I really did have an encounter with a black (archive)

I was on my way home from soccer practice with my little sisters in the car. I saw someone driving a black 911 (930body) with a whaletale (was hoping it was a turbo, but it wasnt)... I pulled up next to him when traffic cleared and saw that he was just a punk kid. I got behind him to pass someone in the slow lane and he punched it while I was still waiting for my 2nd gear synchro to let me in gear (getting it fixed next week) After I got it in 2nd I punched it and stood even with him through 2nd until the higher RPMs when I started to gain on him. I am positive he was pushing it too... b/c I could hear it winding out.

The best thing was pulling up beside him and hearing his engine's mechanical sound (the valves)... it sounded just like my car =) but mine was faster...
