I was informed that my front rotors are below legal limits. I just had the pads replaced all the way around. Can anyone reccomend a high quaility replacement rotors? Is this someting simple I can do myself or should I shell out the $ for an independent body shop?

Go to the dealer and purchase the OE.
Best quality, balanced, not that expensive!
Most dealers give BMW CCA discounts.
There are also a number of on-line BMW dealers that give deep discounts.
The E-34 M5 rotors wear out with 1 pad set.
