I drive a 525i 1993, and sometimes in the winter time, i experienced the same sensation.. What type of oil do you use?? When I switched to a thinner viscosity 10-30W the problem went away.. You obviously don't want to run a thick oil in wintertime like 20-50W

i hear a whining or howling sound from the engine ,

when i start it up .

in the morining its getting cold here, after a couple

of minuites it goes away, is there a problem to be repaired
