Where do you live?? I own a silver 1993 M5, which is in excellent condition and have been thinking about selling it. But, I thought I would wait until next spring/summer.

The car has 130,000 kms or 78,000 miles. The really great thing about the car is that the engine had a complete rebuild last year because a dumb mechanic over torqued the head after changing the head gasket. So, the block and pistons are new and the head has been completely refurbished. I have been driving the car for a year now with absolutely no problems.

The cars interior is spotless. And, the exterior is close to perfect with only chips on the front end. It is great daily driver as the car runs well at city speeds (i.e. like a luxury sedan). But, the car becomes the ultimate sports car as soon as you hit the accelerator or take a high speed corner.

The only point of discontent on the car is the exhaust system, which is an aftermarket stainless steel system. While many people prefer a louder, sportier sound, I do not. So, I am currently waiting for a system from Stebro. Hopefully, this will provide the performance and sound I am looking for.

The car has two sets of rims, one Racing Dynamic and the factory originals.

I would want something in the area of $20,000 US or $30,000 Cdn. I bought the car for $38,000 Cdn and have invested close to $20,000 in it.

The reason for selling the car is straight forward. I want a luxury sedan. In all likelihood I will end up with a 740 or a e430 sport.
