I am not sure of the local where you are at but look at others which have come up for sale. I spent seven months looking for an M5 and called/looked at several cars. A good question I always asked was how often tires were replaced.

The car I finally ended up purchasing was owned by two previous owners. The best advice I have for you is to follow your gut instinct. The former owner contacted me after I drove the car home from Boise to ensure I made it back ok and that the car ran without any problems. He even wishes to purchase the car a few years from now if I wish to sell it --he was simply hard up for money. Other than your gut instinct the other piece of advice I have for you is "you get what you pay for". Have a technician inspect the car for a compression test and (it was reccomended to me after I bought my car) to do a dyno test. Best of luck with your possible purchase.

Brent
