you might want to check to see if the car has any service records...

Check the overall condition of the car, if they didn't take care of it cosmetically they probably didnt take care of it mechanically.

take it for a test drive and see how it runs, another easy thing to remember, try to run it over some train tracks.. not fast, but at a normal pace, this will help determine how well the suspension has been maintained, and can also reveal framedamage...(framedamaged cars usually seem like they're gonna fall apart)

Thats just my $.02, take it or leave it.
